Je T'Aime, Je T'Aime (1968)
In Alain Resnais's Je t'aime, je t'aime (1968), Claude Rich plays a man chosen after a failed suicide attempt for a time-travel experiment tried only on mice and meant to send him back one minute; it malfunctions, leaving him adrift among moments of his past, circling the woman at their centre. It shows on 35mm, preceded by Un chien andalou (1929), in the Harvard Undergraduate Cinematheque series Nostalgia.
