Castle of our Skins | FIRE!!: A Celebration of Radical Black Expression

Longy School of Music · Edward M. Pickman Concert Hall · 27 Garden Street · Cambridge · Cambridge

Castle of our Skins takes the 1926 literary magazine Fire!! as its starting point, in an evening that is part concert, part conversation and part salon, with musicians, writers and audience in one room. The group frames it around Black artists who have expanded the boundaries of form.
