Harvard University Choir Fall Concert

· · · ·

The Harvard University Choir and Orchestra perform Benjamin Britten's St. Nicolas, with tenor Jonas Budris in the title role. Britten wrote the cantata in 1948, to a text by Eric Crozier, for the centenary of Lancing College; it tells the life and legends of the fourth-century bishop of Myra, and the score has the audience join the choir in two hymns. The concert is also streamed on YouTube.
