Tell me, Mother
Yana Gladkikh, who starred in Arlekin's The Dybbuk, devised and directs this premiere, a choral piece about motherhood as shared memory, joy, trauma and humor, drawn from mothers' testimonies, lived experience and the poetry of Gabriela Mistral. Ten members of the resident company perform it in Russian with English supertitles, combining physical theater, dance and spoken word; Suli Holum, co-founder of Pig Iron Theatre Company, choreographs.
