Die Hard (1988)
Die Hard (1988), John McTiernan’s action thriller, sends NYPD cop John McClane (Bruce Willis) to Los Angeles at Christmas to see his estranged wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia). He arrives at her company’s sky-rise headquarters for the office party just as terrorists led by Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) seize the building and take everyone hostage, and with no police help coming, McClane, who slipped away unseen, fights back alone.
