Arneis Quartet: World Premiere of Crossing Arcs by Ketty Nez
The Arneis Quartet gives the world premiere of Crossing Arcs, a new string quartet by Boston University composer Ketty Nez, whose music often takes up cultural heritage, folk traditions and memory. The premiere continues the Center for New Music’s collaboration with the quartet, which spends a December residency working with BU student composers before this concert.
