Dr. Maisha Grant discusses her memoir Detoured: From Cancer to Chaos to Cure, which chronicles “her journey through cancer, chaos, faith, and healing.” The conversation takes up the emotional, social, spiritual and physical challenges of cancer beyond the diagnosis, with room for participants to share their own stories. Grant is a Harvard-educated scholar, educator and cancer survivor whose work centers on leadership, equity and the power of story.
