Kaagaz Ke Phool (1959)
Guru Dutt's Kaagaz Ke Phool (1959), the first Indian feature shot in CinemaScope, stars Dutt as Suresh Sinha, a famous director who makes a star of Shanti (Waheeda Rehman), a stranger he lends his coat to on a rainy night; his chaotic private life dooms their romance.
