Mala and Solomon Kamm Lecture in Ethics with C. Thi Nguyen
C. Thi Nguyen, associate professor of philosophy at the University of Utah and author of Games: Agency as Art, lectures on moral diversity: whether a good moral world needs different temperaments, the empathic and forgiving alongside “angry warriors for justice.” He weighs arguments from moral exploration and social coordination, and asks whether the unity of the virtues might belong to the community rather than the individual.
