Book Launch: Ecologies of Justice
Contributors discuss Ecologies of Justice: Making and Unmaking Prison Worlds, a collection on the role of “multi-species ecologies” in prison, jail and reentry programmes. Speakers include co-editor Matt DelSesto, a sociologist who has taught in prison education for over fifteen years; Judith Foster, founder of the H.E.R.O. Nurturing Center; and Renée Portanova and Erika Rumbley of The New Garden Society, which gardens with students in a Boston prison yard.
