Stories of Immigrants
This Playback Theatre performance, held in honour of Dr. King's birthday, invites audience members, especially first- and second-generation immigrants and people working for immigrant rights, to tell stories from their lives about what is hard and what connects them to the community. A conductor draws out each story, and True Story's actors and musician improvise it on the spot, enacting six to eight over the show.
