Oratorios, cantatas, sonatas and harpsichord music by Élisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre (1665–1729), who played for Louis XIV as a child prodigy and became the first woman in France to compose an opera, Céphale et Procris (1694). Soprano Michele Kennedy, violinist Sarah Darling and harpsichordist Andrus Madsen perform; the second performance is at the Goethe-Institut in Boston.
