American Art Curators in Conversation
The 2026 Ellen Wayles Randolph Coolidge Lecture is a discussion of what is at stake in curating American art now, with Candice Hopkins (Tlingit), executive director and chief curator of The Forge Project; Ilona Katzew, head of Latin American art at LACMA; and Stephanie Sparling Williams, head of American art at the Brooklyn Museum. Horace D. Ballard, the museums' curator of American art, moderates with the student Frances Yee.
