JS Tan and Clarissa Redwine launch Against Tech Oligarchy: Worker Resistance in the World's Most Powerful Industry, on tech worker activism, Silicon Valley's shifting labour politics and the rise of today's tech oligarchs. It argues that workers, "when united," can build the leverage to push back. Tan is a doctoral student in MIT's Department of Urban Studies and Planning.
