Building Stronger, More Trusting Relationships Across Health Belief Divides
David Bersoff, head of research at the Edelman Trust Institute, looks at what people believe about today's most debated health claims. In a survey behind the talk, 70 percent of respondents endorsed at least one claim about nutrition, vaccines, fluoride, raw milk or acetaminophen, and the seminar asks how assumptions and stereotypes shape public health communication and how the field might better engage the people it seeks to reach.
