Songs of Pride | Queer Art Songs
The Boston Festival Orchestra marks Pride with art songs and chamber works for baritone, clarinet and piano about queer love, in a program that “blends performance with thoughtful discussion” of the music’s historical and cultural context. Artistic Director Alyssa Wang joins BFO musicians and guest artists in works including Derek Bermel’s We Two Boys, Lori Laitman’s If I... and Drew Hemenger’s Her Final Show.
