I Play Rocky (2026)
I Play Rocky (2026), directed by Peter Farrelly (Green Book), tells how a broke young Sylvester Stallone, inspired by Muhammad Ali's fight with Chuck Wepner, wrote the screenplay for Rocky in a few days and insisted on playing the boxer himself. Anthony Ippolito plays Stallone, with Matt Dillon, Tracy Letts and Stephan James. First runner-up for Toronto's 2026 People's Choice Award, it screens on 35mm in IFFBoston's Fall Focus.
