The Tempest: A staged reading
Fri Feb 26 / Sat Feb 27 · 7:00pm
Shakespeare’s late romance follows Prospero, the deposed Duke of Milan, who has lived for twelve years on an island with his daughter Miranda and, with the spirit Ariel’s help, raises a storm to wreck the ship carrying the men who betrayed him. UMass Lowell’s Theatre Studies Program gives it as a staged reading, directed by Dawn Simmons, a co-founder of Boston’s Front Porch Arts Collective.
