SCSB Colloquium: Kuan Hong Wang on Neuromodulation of Circuit Plasticity
Kuan Hong Wang, Dean’s Professor of Neuroscience at the University of Rochester Medical Center, discusses how neuromodulatory systems, among them dopaminergic, cannabinoid and neuroimmune signaling, govern the plasticity of neural circuits across development, experience and disease. Drawing on circuit mapping, in vivo imaging and electrophysiology in mice and non-human primates, he considers how that work could guide circuit-based therapies for brain disorders.
