Dana Cuff, “Coming Home: Crisis, Fire, and Recovery”
Dana Cuff, founder of UCLA’s cityLAB research and design center, discusses the lab’s work on rebuilding after the 2025 Eaton Fire in Altadena and on the Los Angeles housing crisis, with a focus on its community-led post-fire initiatives. Founded in 2006, cityLAB has developed low-cost, high-performance housing prototypes for infill sites from backyards to schoolyards, and partners with community groups in Westlake/MacArthur Park and Altadena.
