Eraserhead
David Lynch's debut feature, Eraserhead (1977), follows first-time father Henry Spencer as he tries to survive his industrial surroundings, an angry girlfriend and the unrelenting screams of his newborn mutant child. Jack Nance plays Henry, and the black-and-white photography is by Frederick Elmes and Herbert Cardwell. It screens on 35mm as part of the theatre's Cult Cinema Tuesdays series.
