Stories of Unconventional Love
True Story Theater's Valentine's Day Playback Theatre show gathers stories of love in many forms: queer and gender-non-conforming partnerships, relationships across wide age gaps or across race, ethnicity and religion, close bonds among several people, conventional couples, and love for oneself. A conductor draws out each audience member's story, and the company's actors and musician improvise it on the spot.
