How Suite It Is

Bay Colony Brass · Second Church in Newton · 60 Highland St · West Newton · MA · West Newton · Newton

Bay Colony Brass gives an evening of suites: Thomas Tyra’s Suite for Brass & Timpani, Percy Grainger’s Lincolnshire Posy, dances from Tielman Susato’s La Danserye, Elgar’s Severn Suite and Debussy’s Children’s Corner, the last four in arrangements, plus a new work by Shon Brown. The band, founded in 2000, is a 20-piece volunteer brass and percussion ensemble led by music director Philip Sanborn.
