Book Signing with Nicole Graev Lipson, author of Mothers and Other Fictional Characters
Nicole Graev Lipson signs her memoir Mothers and Other Fictional Characters, in which she "breaks through the ready-made stories of womanhood," drawing on her literary foremothers to write about fidelity, female friendship, solitude and frozen embryos. Lipson's essays have appeared in The Best American Essays. Claire Dederer, author of Monsters: A Fan's Dilemma, called the book "sensitive, searingly intelligent, and beautifully written."
