Illustrator Sibu T. P. shares the picture book The Ones Who Came Before, about Aabanya, who feels at home helping her grandfather on Early Mountain but out of place in town, where people ask who she is and where she is from. With his help, and an encounter with a bear, she remembers those who came before her. For ages 4 to 8.
