Tangles (2027), Leah Nelson's hand-drawn animated debut feature, adapts Sarah Leavitt's graphic memoir Tangles: A Story about Alzheimer's, My Mother and Me. In 1990s San Francisco, Sarah (Abbi Jacobson) is starting out as an illustrator when her mother Midge (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) is found to have Alzheimer's. Bryan Cranston, Beanie Feldstein and Samira Wiley also voice roles, with Seth Rogen, Bowen Yang and Wanda Sykes in support. In IFFBoston's Fall Focus.
