True to the Navy (1930)
True to the Navy (1930), Frank Tuttle's pre-Code romantic comedy, stars Clara Bow as Ruby, a San Diego soda-counter girl with a habit of taking up with sailors, until she sets her sights on Bull's Eye McCoy, a gunner who refuses to settle down, played by Fredric March. It is one of Bow's rare talking pictures, shown by Channel Zero in the downstairs micro-cinema, $10 cash at the door.
