Digital Scholarship Conversations: Boston Soundscapes
Ethnomusicologist Stéphanie Khoury describes how she uses ArcGIS StoryMaps to have students map Boston's soundscapes, tracing how residents use public and private musical initiatives to claim cultural space and negotiate social identity and racial inequity. Khoury is an associate teaching professor in music and in the Department of Studies in Race, Colonialism, and Diaspora at Tufts. The talk belongs to Tisch Library's Digital Scholarship Conversations series.
