Sarah Trad discusses A House in the Lebanese Mountains, which “opens the doors of a family home in the Lebanese mountains that was transformed into a welcoming guesthouse,” telling its history and her family’s story alongside chapters of traditional recipes. Trad founded Beit Trad, the eighteenth-century house above Beirut that became that boutique guesthouse, and cofounded Skoun, Lebanon’s first outpatient addiction center. Refreshments precede the talk.
