Three poets read, followed by an open mic. Anastasia Vassos, whose poem “Rough Marble” won the New England Poetry Club’s 2026 Amy Lowell Prize, is the author of Note to Self, Nostos and Nike Adjusting Her Sandal. Jean Flanagan, Arlington’s Poet Laureate Emerita, wrote Ibbetson Street and A Hard Winter for Living. Cindy Goncalves, a holistic practitioner and self-described “quantum poet,” has published two collections.
