13 Moons with Darius Coombs
Darius Coombs, a Mashpee Wampanoag cultural educator, talks about Wampanoag life through the thirteen moons of the year: planting, hunting, fishing and gathering nuts and berries on land his people have called home for thousands of years, and what colonization meant to that culture. The Friends of the Belmont Public Library sponsor the program, which is limited to 50 people and requires registration.
