Boston College Symphony Orchestra - Winter Concert
The Boston College Symphony Orchestra honours the bicentennial of Beethoven's death with his Symphony No. 6 in F major, the “Pastoral”, his portrait of a day in the countryside. Alongside it the orchestra plans Wagner's Prelude and “Liebestod” from Tristan und Isolde, or one or more concertos in its place. The concert, from the university's Music Department, is free and open to the public.
