Isidore String Quartet with Jeremy Denk
Britten's Three Divertimenti and Mendelssohn's grief-stricken F-minor Quartet, Op. 80, written in 1847 in the wake of his sister Fanny's death, precede Brahms's Piano Quintet, Op. 34, in which the Isidore String Quartet is joined by pianist Jeremy Denk for a work that makes equal demands of piano and strings.
