First Monday at Jordan Hall: November
This month's programme is built around Budapest's Liszt Academy. The violinist and NEC alumna Tessa Lark plays Bartók's Romanian Folk Dances with the pianist Alessio Bax and traditional American tunes with violinist Eden Mac-Adam-Somer and cellist Mike Block. Soprano Dani Zhang sings Liszt's Oh! Quand je dors and Pace non trovo, and Bax anchors Dohnányi's Sextet, Op. 37, with faculty strings, clarinet and horn.
