Elsinore (2026)
Elsinore (2026), directed by Simon Stone from a screenplay by Stephen Beresford (Pride), follows the Scottish actor Ian Charleson, star of Chariots of Fire, who stepped in as Hamlet at the National Theatre when Daniel Day-Lewis walked off the stage, just as he was diagnosed with AIDS. Andrew Scott plays Charleson, with Olivia Colman as his doctor and Joe Locke, Billie Piper and Johnny Flynn. Part of IFFBoston's Fall Focus.
